My thoughts and prayers are with the family during your time of loss. It was my honor to have known Lamar for many years. I was in charge of activities at both Peoples and Palmetto Gardens and Lamar was always there willing to give a helping hand. He will be deeply missed!

I was saddened to hear of the passing of an old and dear friend and teammate. I remember him when his star was brilliant to behold. Lamar was one of if not the most gifted all around athlete in the area in his day...and an even better man at his peak.
