The family of Ms. Tonjia Patrice Wilson in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state, and local community, has decided to hold a private limited immediate family only Graveside service for their loved one. While the family of Ms. Tonjia Patrice Wilson would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding.

Immediate family only Graveside services for Ms. Tonjia Patrice Wilson, age 50, will be conducted on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Newberry Memorial Gardens. 

Ms. Wilson passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Gwinett Memorial Hospital, Lawrenceville, Georgia.  Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of Patricia Richardson and the late Otis Caldwell.

Tonjia graduated from Newberry High School in 1987.  She attended Mansfield Business in 2003; HOward Payne in Accounting and was pursuing a BA in Project Management at Capella University.  She was a member of New Enoree Baptist Church and worked an accountant at WIDOTGC-OCS, INC. 

Surviving are her mother, Patricia Richardson of Newberry, SC; daughter, Nadia Neal of Atlanta. GA; sisters, Tammy Workman (Dereco) and Stephanie Davis (Randy) all of Newberry, SC; Shana Burton of Lawrenceville, GA and Sabrina Sampson (Stanley) of Winnsboro, SC; brothers, Daren Wilson, Otis J. Bates and Travis Davis all of Newberry, SC; James Patrick Caldwell (Drea) of Columbia, SC; Lomas Davis of Whitmire, SC; aunts, Melinda Wicker (Rev. Freddie), Ada Bookman (James); great aunt, Fannie Mae Hall; uncle, Patrick Wilson; a host of nieces, nephews including "her sunshine", Camron Goodwin, great-nephews, Khyren and Logan; devoted cousins, Dornetta Tribble and Barbara Moore; devoted friend, Yolanda Scott; other family members who will miss her dearly.
