Peggie Sue Palmore

Funeral services for Mrs. Peggie Sue Palmore will be conducted on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM at New Covenant Christian Center.  Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Peggie Sue Lyles Palmore was born on October 20, 1950 in Newberry County to the late Lula Mae Lyles and Ed Jones. She was the wife of the late Oliver Morris Palmore. Mrs. Palmore entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, South Carolina.

She retired from the Newberry County School system. She was a member of New Covenant Christian Center.                                              

Mrs. Palmore was predeceased by her sisters; Linda Ann Lyles and Dianne Griffin.

Cherishing her memories are son, James Anthony Palmore (Anna Dis) of Chapin, SC; daughters, Hazeleen Palmore Conner (Sammuel) of Newberry, SC, Barbara Annette Ford (Kendrick) of Irmo, SC; sister, Stella Lortman; brothers Thomas Lyles and Bobby Lyles all of Newberry, SC; brother-in-law Robert Palmore (Patricia) of Asheville, NC; sister-in-law Melissa Hardy (Joe) of Troy, SC; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren; devoted nieces, C. Elizabeth Palmore and Sandra D. Edmond; two loving friends, Lillie Mae Gallman & Peggy Peoples; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
