MacArthur Douglas

Funeral services for Mr. MacArthur Douglas, age 60, will be conducted on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Shiloh AME Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Douglas passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at his home.  Born in Newberry, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Leroy Douglas and the late Margie Douglas.  He was an employee of Georgia Pacific.

Mr. Douglas was predeceased by two sisters, Cheryl Douglas and Mary Maybin; two brothers, Bennie Douglas and Willie James Benson; father-in-law, Clarence R. Wise.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Wise Douglas of the home; daughters, Shante Douglas Burton (Patrick); Alisha Williams (Scott) all of Newberry, SC; son, Tyson Jeter (Nicole) of Columbia, SC; step-son, Terrence Kinard of the home; sister, Elizabeth Ann Douglas; brother, Grady Douglas both of Newberry, SC; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, mother-in-law, Jessie Mae Wise of Prosperity, SC; one sister-in-law, four brothers-in-law, special friends, Willie Hutcherson, Keith Butler and Benjamin Knight; other relatives and friends.
