Gwenda Mae (Caldwell) Vaughn

Mrs. Gwenda Mae Vaughn, age 60, of West Virginia, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Vaughn was born March 11, 1961 in Burke County to Ernest and Elma (Thomas) Caldwell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Vaughn, and father Ernest W . Caldwell , a sister, Linda Caldwell (Wilkins) also a great nephew, Bradley Javon Bridges.

She survived by her mother, Elma Caldwell of Newberry SC , a daughter, Monique Caldwell of Morganton, NC; one sister, Debra Hayes of Boone, NC , three brothers, Ernest E . Caldwell of Bellflower, CA , Warren S. Caldwell of Newberry SC and Ronald Caldwell Owens of Annapolis, MD; mother- in- law, Laura Vaughn of Welch, West Virginia; several loving nieces, nephews and a host of special friends.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.  All in attendance are asked to wear a mask or face covering and practice social distancing.  Viewing will be on Saturday, June 19, 2021 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM at the Fred B. Memorial Chapel.  Burial will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC.
