Ella M. Price

Funeral services for Mrs. Ella M. Price, age 87, will be conducted on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 12 Noon at Welch Zion Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Mt. Zion AME Church (Kinards, SC) cemetery.

Mrs. Price passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015 at White Oak Manor - Newberry.  Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of the late Mattie L. Walker.  She joined Mt. Zion AME Church at an early aged and later moved her membership to Welch Zion Baptist Church where she was the "Mother of the Church."

Mrs. Price was predeceased by her husband, Willie L. Price and two daughters and one son.

Surviving are daughters, Mary A. Suber, Jessie Mitchell (Griffin), Ella Marie Williams and Trudy Price; sons, John Price and Willie James Price (Alfreda); brother, John Wesley Brown; fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
