Earl Brooks, Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. Earl Brooks, Sr, age 72, will be conducted on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Hannah A. M. E. Church.  Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Brooks passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at his home.  Born in Newberry, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Charles Floyd and the late Rachael Catherine Brooks.  He was a member of Hannah A. M. E. Church and a graduate of Gallman High School.  Mr. Brooks was self employed as a Logger.

Mr. Brooks was predeceased by brothers, Vernal Brooks and Ronnie Brooks.

Surviving are his wife, Kwon Brooks; daughters, Kimberly Jeter (Evian) of Columbia, SC; Reshell Samuels (Herman) of Johnston, SC; Ervina Sims of Newberry, SC; sons, Kevin Brooks (Margie) of Newberry, SC; Earl Brooks, Jr. (Tonya) of Little Mountain, SC; step-sons, Yetu Riley (Ashley) of Irmo, SC; Aetae Riley of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Eugene Brooks of Prosperity, SC; Bernard Brooks of Columbia, SC; Corey Floyd; eleven grandchildren; one unborn great-grandson; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
