Daphne (Burnside) Ruff

Memorial services for Mrs. Daphne Burnside Ruff will be conducted on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 2:00 PM at New Enoree Baptist Church.

Mrs. Ruff passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at her home.  Born in Newberry County, she was the daughter of the late Linwood Burnside and the late Viola Thacker Burnside.  She was a faithful member of New Enoree Baptist Church where she worked closely and diligently with the Children Youth Choir and Church Secretary..  Mrs. Ruff was a graduate of Gallman High School and received a Diploma in Office Management from Piedmont Technical College.

Surviving are her husband, John Ruff of the home; daughter, Gretta B. Richard (Tony B.) of Laurens, SC; sisters, Jacqueline Burnside (Edward Young); Pirlee Burnside Shippy (John) of Newberry, SC; brothers, John Burnside (Mary Lee) of Whitmire, SC; Frank Burnside (Mamie) of Newberry, SC; five aunts, three uncles, grandchild, Ja Quavis Richard; nieces, nephews, two brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.
