We are sincerely sorry for your loss. It's never easy to lose a loved one under any circumstance. Please be assured that Jehovah God is aware of your pain and he is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). The bible promises us that there will be a resurrection (John 5:28, 29) and that God will bring an end to death once and for all (Revelation 21:4). From that point on we will never have to feel the pangs of death again. We pray these words and scriptures are able to bring you some comfort.

To the Family ,
I would like to express how sorry to hear of your loss. I recently lost my father. The pain of losing a loved one is a pain that seemingly never goes away. However, the pain can lessen when we think of what God has promised to do for us.
What comfort does he provide us? First of all, at 1 Cor 15:26 it says: "The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death." So God views death as an enemy and will eventually remove death.
Secondly, Jesus gave us hope when at John 11:25 he said: "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:" So there is a chance to see our loved ones again under better conditions.
This comfort from the Bible has helped me in dealing with the loss of my father and I hope it will help your family to some degree with your loss.

To the Mathis Family: These words of deepest sympathy are sent with the hope that, as time goes by, cherished memories will help bring you inner peace, and make your loved one seem still very close to you. May the memories that mean the most to you live forever in your heart. And may the sure hope of the resurrection (Isaiah 26:19; John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15) comfort and strengthen you as you await the fulfillment. Please remember “memories have no expiration dates “ wishing comfort and peace.
