To the Family,
I would like to express how sorry to hear of your loss.
It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your loved one can be most difficult to bear. That pain is not necessarily erased by being told that your loved one is up in heaven.
I found what God promises in the Bible helpful. At Acts 24:15 it says “And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead.”
This promise has consoled me when my father died. Hopefully, it can provide some hope and comfort to your family.

🌼 While it may have been difficult saying goodbye to Geraldine, please find comfort in God’s promise that very soon he will restore life to perfection to all those in his memory:

Dear Family, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. My sincere condolences to the family. May you think of the many beautiful memories that you shared with Geraldine, and cherish those precious moments. May the God of all comfort caress your heart with his living promise to one day reunite you together again in the future paradise mentioned at Revelation 21:4,5. Our Dear Heavenly Father Jehovah(Psalms 83:18), knows the many tears you cry and he will sustain you, if you let him. I was thinking of you and hoping that you can find comfort during this difficult time. If later, you would like to learn more from the Bible about why does a loving God allow so much suffering, and injustice, please, feel free to go to the website: www.JW.org to find satisfying answers.

It is with heartfelt sympathy that we extend love to you during this time of bereavement. Mrs. Wells was loved by all who met her, and we here in Charleston count it a blessing and an honor to have worked with her in Kingdom Building efforts. We know that your hearts are full, but please know that she placed you all in the Master’s hands before her transition.

It is our prayer that God continue to comfort you and shower you with His tender mercies and love.
