Courtney Adoria Tobias

A service of love, celebrating the life of Ms. Courtney Adoria Camille Tobias, age 26,  will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Oak Grove Presbyterian Church, 206 Mount Pilgrim Church Road, Prosperity, SC (viewing one hour prior to service). Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Our Heavenly Father called to rest a beautiful young daughter, sister, and friend to Eternal Rest on Thursday, September 6, 2018.

“God has chosen you and made you his holy people. He loves you. So always do these things: Show mercy to others; be kind, humble, gentle, and patient” (Colossians 3:12). Knit perfectly together by God, Courtney was His special gift to her family and close friends. She was an inspiration to everyone who came into her presence. Her laughter, her love for reading, and her love for music and apple juice were the things that she enjoyed with the people that she loved most – her family, who she taught to be kind, humble, gentle, patient, and tolerant.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Doris Tobias; maternal great grandparents, Alonzo Williams and Elizabeth Williams; Henry Morris Tobias, Sr. and Dalice Tobias.

Courtney will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Ms. Melody LaNeca Tobias, Charlotte, NC; younger brother, Mr. Henry Ethan Tobias, Charlotte, NC and youngest brother, Mr. Tyler Leander Tobias, both of Charlotte, NC; one grandfather, Mr. Henry Morris Tobias, Jr., Charlotte, NC; one aunt, Mrs. Dawn (Gerald) Bedenbaugh, Charlotte, NC; two great aunts, Mrs. Geraldine Brown, New York, New York and Mrs. Lavern (James) Byrd, Little Mountain, SC; two great uncles, Mr. James Byrd, Sr., Little Mountain, SC and Mr. John Earl Williams, Prosperity, SC; dedicated cousins, Ms. Germaya Bedenbaugh, Ms. Jessica Bedenbaugh, and Mr. Gerald Aaron Bedenbaugh all of Charlotte, NC, dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for more that 10 years, Kimberly Currence, Charlotte, NC;and a host of other relatives and friends.
