Charice L. Ragin

Funeral services for Ms. Charice L. "Recie" Ragin, age 45, will be conducted on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Love Chapel Holiness Church, Whitmire, SC.  Burial will follow in Sims Chapel Baptist Church cemetery.

Recie  passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John E. Ragin and the late Carrie P. Setzler Ragin.  She was a devoted member of Love Chapel Holiness Church. She received her education at the Philadelphia Job Corps where she earned her certification in the health occupational trade and her high school diploma.  Recie later moved to Newberry, South Carolina to fulfill a dream of a better future for her five beloved children.   Recie was loved by many.  She had a love for singing, writing, gospel music, playing the piano and a special way with words of comfort.

Recie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister to her two siblings.

Recie leaves to mourn her companion, Shawn Price; three sons, Kierre, Kayree and KJ; two daughters, Kaiana and Karrie; granddaughter, Kiera and the prayerfully arrival of her unborn grandson; two siblings, Donna and Steve; four nephews, Donnez, Markel, Stephen and Brad; three nieces, Vanee, Melinda and Shairah; best friends, Thomica Mackey and Shawn Hamilton, "father of her two eldest children", a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
