Thomas Neal

Mr. Thomas Neal, the son of the James H. Neal, Sr. and the late Lue Bessie H. Neal, was born September 1, 1976 in Newberry County, South Carolina.  The sun set on his time here on Friday, April 7, 2023.

Thomas grew up in Newberry, South Carolina where he spent most of his life and was educated in the Newberry School system.  He had a number of jobs and at the time of his sunset worked for W. B. T. as a diesel truck mechanic.

Thomas leaves to carry on in his absence his father, James H. Neal, Sr., now living in Piedmont, SC; a sister, Sonja Neal of Lexington, SC and a brother, James H. Neal, Jr. of Clinton, SC; his significant other Gwendolyn L. Brown and her daughter, Keyona James of Clinton, SC, seven aunts and eight uncles..   He also leaves a number of cousins and friends, like his work buddy's, Joseph Hill, Jr. of Columbia, SC, Frederick Hill, Leonard Hill, Bennie Neal, Jr. and Joey Hill all of Newberry, SC, also Yvette Hill, Beneva Neal, Shiek Neal, Cheyenne Neal and Diana Brown of Newberry, SC.  Thomas saw all of these family members as siblings not cousins and they had a tight bond.

Thomas had much love for all those who knew him, and all those who knew him knows the love was there and true.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.  Public viewing will be on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
