Takissa La'sonya Caldwell

Mrs. Takissa La'sonya Caldwell was born in Newberry, South Carolina to Edward Hunter and Evion Henderson Hunter.  She entered into Eternal Rest on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital.

Mrs. Caldwell was a graduate of Newberry High School and Piedmont Technical College. She was employed as a nurse for over 16 years with Jessie F. Hawkins Nursing Home in Newberry, SC, Lowman Home Nursing Home in White Rock, SC and was currently employed with NHC Healthcare in Clinton, SC.  Mrs. Caldwell was a faithful member of New Enoree Baptist Church.

Mrs. Caldwell was predeceased by five uncles, Charles, Adam, Fred, Ervin and Paul Henderson; father-in-law, Councilman John Caldwell.

Mrs. Caldwell leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Sean Edward Caldwell, daughter, Brittany Shaeday Caldwell, grandson, La'sean Johnathan Caldwell-Jones, parents, Edward and Evion Hunter; sister, Tiffany Hunter all of Newberry, SC; brothers, Eric Hunter and Eltric Henderson; mother-in-law, Patricia H. Caldwell of Newberry, SC; three aunts, one uncle, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2023 at 2:00 pm at New Enoree Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Newberry Memorial Gardens cemetery.  Public viewing will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
