Ricky Dean Wright
Obituary
Mr. Ricky D. Wright was born in Newberry, South Carolina to the late James Luther Wright and the late Mamie Lee Mathis Wright. He passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital.
Mr. Wright was a graduate of Mid-Carolina High School and retired from Louis Rich.
Mr. Wright is survived by his son, Hakiem Byrd, grandson, Karter Byrd, siblings, Dinette Wright, Tammy Martin, Jamie Wright and Glendora Wright, devoted niece, Brittany Wright, three aunts, two uncles, one sister-in-law, three brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Burial will follow at New Enoree Baptist Church. Public viewing will be on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
