Mr. Ramon Sims, age 42, was born February 27, 1979 in Newberry, South Carolina to Raymond Sims and Betty Ann Mitchell Sims. He passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021.
He attended Fairfield and Newberry County Public Schools.
Mr. Sims is survived by his wife, Rhonda Sims, mother, Betty Ann Mitchell Sims, father, Raymond Sims; children, Otis Hutcherson (Kimberly), Xykiera Sims and TaKiyah Sims; granddaughter, Nadia Hutcherson; siblings, Ryan Hawkins (Nakisha), John A. Cromer, Comoda Duckett, Tawanda Sligh (Jamel) and Jamel Mathis (Maria); mother-in-law, Shirley Alexander; father-in-law, Dr. Timothy Turner (Dr. Rita Harvey Turner); sister-in-law, Jamila Turner, brothers-in-law, Jalin Alexander, Omari Turner and Azizi Turner; special friends, Korey Suber, Terry Ray Pearson and Marino Harris seven aunts, nine uncles, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Newberry Memorial Gardens. All in attendance are asked to wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing. Viewing will be on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
