Phyllis Annette Caldwell

Ms. Phyllis Annette Caldwell was born October 10, 1964 in Newberry, South Carolina, to James Lewis Caldwell and the late Georgia Mae Rutherford Caldwell.  She passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024.

Ms. Caldwell was a 1982 graduate of Mid-Carolina High School.  She was employed with MM Technics in Prosperity, South Carolina.

Ms. Caldwell was predeceased by a sister, Sheila S. Caldwell; paternal grandparents, L. C. Caldwell and Louise Missouri Marshall Caldwell; maternal grandparents, Sammy Lindsay and Jessie Mae Rutherford Coleman.

Ms. Caldwell loved playing spades on her phone.  Her hobby was taking pictures, she always had a camera in her hand.  She was a die- hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Her daughter and granddaughter were the love of her life.

Ms. Caldwell is survived by her loving daughter, Taisha S. Williams-Caldwell; father, James Lewis Caldwell both of the home; sister, Trena Denise Caldwell of Newberry, SC; granddaughter, Kaizley Nova Abacombie Caldwell of the home; nephew, Tyran Jamir Caldwell; adopted brother, Derrick Caldwell Poole of Spartanburg, SC; aunts, Geraldine Caldwell Miller of Newberry, SC, Dorothy Caldwell Greely of North Carolina and Lillian Coleman Maybin of Newberry, SC; uncles Sammy Ray Caldwell and Bruce McGraw both of Columbia, SC; devoted friends, Trina Nelson and Stevie Walker, close extended family, Kayla Turner of Prosperity, SC, Jennifer Brunson of Newberry, SC, Kerron Suber of Columbia, SC, Trae Martin of Easley, SC,, Kelsey (Bug) of Prosperity, SC, Kaytlyn Long of Columbia, SC, Landon Wymer of California and April Arrowood of Prosperity, SC, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM at New Enoree Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Viewing will be on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
