Mr. Larry Tribble better known as "Tribb" entered into the world on December 29, 1960 to Lilly Mae Williams Tribble and the late Terrance Tribble. He journeyed to his heavenly home on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Hospice of Laurens County.
He was baptized at Belmont Baptist Church at an early age.
Mr. Tribble was predeceased by his grandmothers Hattie Williams and Carrie Tribble, grandfather, Hallock Tribble, siblings, Hattie M. Wright, Wayne Tribble, aunt, Callie Williams, uncles, Roosevelt "Rick" Williams, Howard Williams and Robert "Crow" Williams.
"Tribb" was known for his love for people. He had a very kind heart and would help anybody. He had an infectious smile and he loved to make people happy. He especially loved his 'mother' and family spending time watching TV shows, Westerns, Sanford & Son, action movies and listening to gospel songs. Larry was a faithful servant of Jehovah reading the Bible on a daily basis. He loved the Lord.
Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Lilly Mae Tribble, four sisters, Marcia L. Kinard of Newberry, SC; Maxine Chattman, Nancy Tribble and Dolly Goodman all of Clinton, SC; two brothers, Theodore Fred Tribble of Newberry, SC, Tony B. Tribble of Clinton, SC; aunt, Betty Pitts (Eugene) of Pomaria, SC, uncle. Joe Louis Williams of Newberry, SC. He was a great uncle who had a special love for his nieces and nephews. Two special nephews, Zy'hi Cancel and Zy'ler Cancel, a special friend and classmate from 2nd grade Anthony Reeder who was there for the duration through good times and many challenging times when his health began to decline.
"Tribb" will be dearly missed by everyone, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will be on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
