Mr. James Patrick Wadsworth

James Patrick Wadsworth, age 39, of Newberry, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024. Born on July 11, 1984 in Newberry, he was the beloved son of the Mr. James Wadsworth, Jr. and Ms. Phyllis Wright Wadsworth.

James was a former line worker at Kraft Heinz in Newberry and was known for his strong work ethic and kind heart. He attended Mid-Carolina High School in Prosperity, SC.

James was preceded in death by his grandparents and niece, Jaycee Wadsworth.

James is survived by his mother, Phyllis Wright Wadsworth; father; James Wadsworth, Jr.; sister, Jessica Wadsworth; brother, Jarvis Wadsworth (Jhawan); niece, Jada Wadsworth; nephew, Jarvis Wadsworth; devoted uncles, Johnny Wright, William Wright and Back O'Neal Cooper. James leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory.

Arrangements have been entrusted to F. B. Pratt & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at New Enoree Baptist Church. Public viewing will be on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
