Ms. Jacquelin Darlene Parker Walker was born in Waycross, Georgia to the late Bennie Will Parker and the late Delois Eady Parker. She entered into Eternal Rest on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Lexington Medical Center.
Ms. Walker was a member of Miller Chapel AME Church and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Columbia (SC) Alumnae Chapter. Ms. Walker helped charter the American Business Women Association-Women Connecting Women, Newberry, SC where she served on the Formation team and the Executive Board as Treasurer. She also was a former member of Piedmont Technical College Board of Visitors. Ms. Walker received her Bachelor's of Art Degree in Sociology from Newberry College and a Master's of Education Degree in Counseling and Guidance Services from Clemson University. Ms. Walker retired from Westview Behavioral Health Services as a Clinical Counselor.
Ms. Walker is survived by her loving daughters, Sabrina Walker of Baltimore, MD and Kayishia Walker (Tochuku) of Athens, GA; siblings, Walter S. Parker of Valdosta, GA, Wanda P. Neal of Atlanta, GA, Cassandra Bess of Waycross, GA, Benneth Will Parker (Doris) of Atlanta, GA, and Daphne Parker of Waycross, GA; God brother, Monroe Cunningham (Sonya) of Charlotte, NC; Beloved Pomeranian Chloe, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Miller Chapel AME Church.
