Ms. Annie Lue Caldwell was born July 28, 1950 in Prosperity, South Carolina to the late Matthew Lee and Wilhelmina Glasgow and the late Brady Gallman, Jr. She heard and answered her Master's call on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Lexington Medical Center after a short battle with her illness.
At an early age Annie became a member of Mt. Moriah A. M. E. Church. She was also a member of Women's Home Aide Society #23.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Thomas Caldwell, II, Newark, NJ, two sisters, Betty Ann Smith, Prosperity, SC and LaQuinta Shannon Toland, Georgia; brothers, Randy Williams, New Jersey and George Gallman (Sharon), Hopkins, SC.
Annie was blessed to see and hold four generations of children whom she leaves to keep her spirit alive through love and memories: four children, Carolyn Kibler (Ralph), Prosperity, SC, Tony R. Glasgow ((Teresa), Fayetteville, NC, Luciana Caldwell, Newberry, SC and Thomas Caldwell, II (Pamela), Prosperity, SC; five grandchildren, Frederick Glasgow, Jamie Glasgow, Eva Glasgow all of Prosperity, SC, Charity Glasgow, Columbia, SC, Samaad Caldwell, Prosperity, SC also eight step-grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, thirteen step great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, Reyna Glasgow, Newberry, SC, one aunt, Virginia Gallman, Prosperity, SC, a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Annie was known as "Grandma" to everyone and loved by many. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel. Viewing will be on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel. All in attendance are required to wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing.
