Olander Hutcherson

Funeral services for Mr. Olander Hutcherson, age 54, will be conducted on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Metropolitan Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Hutcherson passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at his home.  Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late Robert Hutcherson and the late Minnie M. Caldwell Hutcherson.  He was a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee and a member of the Male Choir.  Mr. Hutcherson was employed with Kraft Foods for 26 years.

Surviving are his devoted wife of 27 years, Carolyn Hutcherson of the home; son, Totakeo Praylow (Shon) of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Antonina Praylow (Bennie) of Newberry, SC; six grandchildren, Kaheem, Ukeba, Te'aja, Nastaja, Totakeo, Jr., ,Shykeam and honorary grandson, Eric Gallman; sisters, Shirley Cannon (Richard) and Melissa Graham (Kentrell) all of Newberry, SC; brothers, Willie Hutcherson (Mary); Tracy Hutcherson, Randy Hutcherson (Gwen); James Wadsworth (Phyllis); Bruce Wadsworth (Priscilla), Roy Wadsworth and Troy Wadsworth all of Newberry, SC; two aunts, Nancy Chaplin of Newberry, SC; Lola Praylow of Columbia, SC; devoted niece, Eileen Knight, devoted friends, Betty Wise and Benji Knight; caregivers, Greg Kyle, Anna Waldo and Joyce Wise; a host of nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins and other relatives.
