Forest Lindsay

Mr. Forest "Plute" Lindsay, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015.

Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late George Lindsay, Sr. and the late Adeline Vance Lindsay.

Mr. Lindsay was predeceased by his wife, Sadie S. Lindsay; siblings, Laura, Maggie Annie, Roscoe, Robert, James, Edward, Frank, Willie, George, Jr. and Jimmy.

Surviving are a son, Alexander C. Lindsay; three grandchildren; brother, Matthew Lindsay, Sr. (Edna) of Bridgeport, CT; sister, Adeline Hare of Newberry, SC; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
