Troxie Boyd Obituary
Ms. Troxie L. Boyd was born January 16, 1963 to the late Johnny B. Boyd and the late Eddie M. Boyd. She entered into the arms of Jesus on Friday, November 5, 2021 at her home.
Ms. Boyd was employed with White Oak Manor of Newberry for over 13 years.
Ms. Boyd was predeceased by a son, Quentin Boyd, brother, James C. Boyd and step-father, Lambert Fielding.
Left to cherish her memories are sons, Warren F., Rakevis and Lamont Ruff all of Newberry, SC; sisters, Cynthia L. Samuel (Tyrone) of Columbia, SC, Margaret J. Boyd, Ida D. Murriell (Greg), Paula Y. Boyd and Donna M. Maybin all of Newberry, SC; brothers, Johnny E Boyd of Washington, DC and Lonnie Boyd of Texas; devoted cousin/caretaker, Phyllis Nance; twelve aunts including devoted aunt, Lajune S. Gary both of Newberry, SC, six uncles, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Pratt Funeral Home. Viewing will be on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm. All in attendance are asked to wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing.
