Tommy H. Glymph, Sr

Mr. Tommy H. Glymph, Sr., age 69, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Lexington Medical Center.

Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late Asberry Glymph and the late Electra Henderson Glymph.  Mr. Glymph was the Owner of A-Team Catering, former School Board Member for Newberry County Schools and he coached baseball for the Newberry Recreation Department from 1987-1994.

Surviving are daughters, Tonia Glymph Walker of Rural Hall, NC; Keisher Glymph of Lake Wylie, SC; son, Tommy "JR' Glymph, Jr. of Winston-Salem, NC; sisters, Bessie Caldwell of Newberry, SC; Essie Glymph of Columbia, SC; brothers, James "Billy" Glymph of Newberry, SC; George Glymph of Columbia, SC; Walter Glymph of Pomaria, SC; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, on daughter-in-law, one son-in-law, three sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Newberry Memorial Gardens.  All in attendance are asked to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
