Thomas Charles Griffin

Mr.  Thomas Charles Griffin was born May 20, 1970 in Newberry, South Carolina to the late Charles Griffin and the late Thomasina Kirkland Griffin.  He passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Griffin attended Helena Outreach Ministry.  He was a graduate of Newberry High School and employed with Samsung.

Mr. Griffin was predeceased by his grandmothers, Jessie Suber and Daisy Mae Neal.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Malinda James Griffin of the home; son, Matrice Floyd (Tiffany) of Greenville, SC, step-daughter,, Zy 'lshia James, step-sons, Zedemiah James and Zedemiah James all of Clinton, SC; grandchild, Jahmir Floyd of Greenville, SC; sisters, Polliann Neal, Rachel Hiller (Robert) and Frerica Griffin all of Newberry, SC; mother-in-law, Chanda Chappell, father-in-law, Larry James; sister-n-law, Lakeisha Glenn (Larry); brother-in-law, Marquidirs Cunningham (Ayanna Makins): special nephew, Cedric Griffin; special niece, Lacenda Pitts, special cousins, Twain Griffin, Pedro Griffin and Rashaw Suber, special friend, Angela Campbell (Steve), nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Helena Outreach Ministry, 1928 Wilson Road, Newberry, SC.  Burial will follow in Werts Cemetery.  Viewing will be on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.  A mask is required to enter the funeral home.
