Talbert Kervinsky Burton

Funeral services for Mr. Talbert K. Burton will be conducted on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.  Mr. Burton was born in Newberry, South Carolina to Audrey N. Burton and the late Virgil N. Fuller. He passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Burton was a graduate of Newberry High School where he was a member of the Bulldog football team.  He enjoyed grilling for his family and friends and he was a New York Giants fan.

Mr. Burton was predeceased by his grandfather, Joe Burton; uncles, Johnny Burton and Kim Fuller.

Mr. Burton is survived in addition to his mother, his daughter, Te'Layah Burton (La'Toya Henderson) of Newberry, SC; son, Centell Burton (Latisha Massey) of Greenville, SC; siblings, Mechaun Burton (Courtney) of Richmond, VA, Quanda Elkins, Jamarcus Grey, Kevius Brown and Travis Burton all of Newberry, SC; significant other, Alicia L. Minick; maternal grandmother, Hixsey C. Burton; paternal grandmother, Frances O. Fuller; aunts, Constance Burton, Carmen Fuller Jones and Vanessa Kennedy; uncles, Junnie Fuller, and Avery Burton all of Newberry, SC; Frank Burton of Columbia, SC; devoted friend, Andrena N. Dawkins of Newberry, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, great-aunts, great-uncles, other family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.  Public viewing will be on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 9:00 am to 1:45 pm followed by the service at 2:00 pm.
