Stevie Frank Stephens

Mr. Stevie Frank Stephens, age 64, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Doctors Hospital of Augusta, Georgia.

Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late Reverend Lonzo Stephens, Sr. and the late Dorothy L. Boyd Stephens.  Mr. Stephens was a member of Lower Mt. Olive AME Church and the Sons of Aid Lodge #61.  He was a graduate of Mid-Carolina High School.Mr. Stephens served in the United States Marine Corp. 

Mr. Stephens was predeceased by a brother, Johnnie Lee Stephens and a sister, Annie Pearl Stephens Pauling.

Surviving are sons, Timothy and Terrence Stephens of  Columbia, SC; sister, Juddie Stephens Goodwin of Prosperity, SC; brothers, Alonzo Stephens, Sr. (Lorrine) of Darlington, SC; Freddie Stephens of Augusta, GA; devoted and caring niece Stephanie (Lee Ann) Stephens of Newberry, SC; a devoted and loving friend, Crystal Gilmore; devoted cousins, Beathrie Mayers and Yolanda Brown of Newberry, SC; God daughter, Chaundra Trice Gallman and her three children of Prosperity, SC; sister-in-law, Lorraine Stephens, brother-in-law, Jimmie Pauling, Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will sadly miss him.

Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Lower Mt. Olive AME Church.  The family ask that those attending practice social distancing.
