Stefanie (Hunter) Phillips

Ms. Stefanie D. Hunter Phillips was born on December 10, 1978 to the late Larry and Katie Saddler Hunter in Newberry, South Carolina.  She passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.

Stefanie attended Trinity A. M. E. Church and Newberry Public Schools.  She worked as at J. F. Hawkins Nursing Home as a cook until her health declined.

Stefanie loved her son and spending time with her sisters and brothers.  She will be missed by many.

Stefanie leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Christopher T. Phillips of Batesburg, SC; her beloved son, Anthony Hunter; sisters, Angela Hunter Lyons (Curtiss) and Kenyata Hunter; brothers, Larry Hunter, Jr. and Keith Hunter all of Newberry, SC; mother-in-law, Virginia W. Phillips; sisters-in-law, Cytena Gantt (Earl) and Kim L. Brooks (Mitchell); brothers-in-law, Stanley Phillips, Darryl Phillips and Reginald Phillips (Kim) all of Saluda, SC; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.  Viewing will be on Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.  A face mask or face covering is required to enter the funeral home.
