Obituary
Mr. Samuel Sylvester Suber was born in Newberry, South Carolina to Thomas Nathaniel Bookman and the late Ellen Suber. He passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Saluda Nursing Center.
Mr. Suber was a United States Marines veteran.
Mr. Suber is survived by his father, Thomas Nathaniel Bookman, son, Lamond Suber; grandchildren, Andrew Scalan and Precious Jones; siblings, Joyce Boyd,, Jerry Caldwell (Leila), Cheryl Bookman, Deborah Williams, Cathy Malone (David), Thomas Bookman (Kristen), Yolanda Lee (John) and Tyrone Bookman (Sue); Elizabeth Pringle was reared in the home as a sister, a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Baptist Church cemetery. Public viewing will be on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
