Ruby Caldwell
Obituary
Ms. Ruby Caldwell was born in Prosperity, South Carolina to the late Nathaniel Caldwell, Sr. and the late Wilhelmenia White Caldwell. She passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital.
Ms. Caldwell was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and attended Brown Chapel AME Church. Post COVID she attended online with Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Chapin, SC and Belmont Baptist Church in Silverstreet, SC. Ms. Caldwell was a retired textile worker.
Ms. Caldwell is survived by three daughters, Tracy Caldwell Hill, Evette Caldwell Davis and Laurette Caldwell Mufuka; two sisters, Ava Caldwell Taylor and Vickey Renea Caldwell, seven grandchildren, three aunts, one uncle, three sons-in-law, one sister-in-law, nineteen nieces and nephews, a host of great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Belmont Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Werts Cemetery.
