Roy Wadsworth

Mr. Roy Wadsworth  was born July 28, 1955 in Newberry, South Carolina to the late Annie Mae Cooper-Hutcherson and the late Earnest Lee Elkins.  He was called home on Monday, September 13, 2021 at his home.  He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.  He was full of life and enjoyed being around his family.

He was predeceased by brothers, Troy Wadsworth (his twin) and Olander Hutcherson, sister-in-law, Carolyn Hutcherson and step-father, Robert Hutcherson.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious memories are his children, Roy'Darius L. Wadsworth, Ky'nia T. Jessie, Dy'niat T. Jessie, Taquanta T. Jessie and Markevious T. Jessie, grandchildren, Zy'Maya, Jessie, ZyDarivst Wadsworth, Tristan Jessie and A. J. Jessie; sisters, Helen Jackson (roger), Melissa Graham (Kentral) and Shirley Cannon (Richard all of Newberry, SC; brothers, Bruce Wadsworth (Priscilla) of Blair, SC, Willie Hutcherson (Mary), James Wadsworth, Randy Hutcherson and Tracy Hutcherson all of Newberry, SC, Wilbert Garmany of Whitmire, SC; nine aunts, four uncles several devoted friends, ex-sister-in-law, Phyllis Wadsworth, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held 11 AM  on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Fellowship Baptist Church.  All in attendance are asked to wear a mask or facing and to practice social distancing.
