Rosa M. (Glasgow) Oxner

Mrs. Rosa M. Oxner, age 88, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021.

She was born September 5, 1932 in Prosperity, South Carolina to the late Henry Glasgow and the late Lillie Wise Glasgow.  She was a member of Mt. Moriah AME Church and Women's Home Aide Society #59.

Mrs. Oxner was predeceased by her husband, Pearnell Oxner and two children, Larry D. Glasgow and Betty A. Harvey.

Surviving are daughters, Barbara F. Wheeler (Macky) and Kathy T. Harmon (Foracene) of Prosperity, SC; Lisa d. Hill (Eddie) of Chapin, SC and Debbie Simms of Prosperity, SC; sons, Waymond Oxner (Gladys) of Newberry, SC and Johnny Oxner (Patricia) of Prosperity, SC; sisters, Elvie Crawford of Washington, DC and Juanita Boyd (Charles) of Prosperity, SC; eighteen grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Moriah AME Church.  All in attendance are asked to wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing.
