Mr. Rodney Grazier was born January 18, 1953, in Newport News, VA, to the late Willie Mae Grazier Bland. He entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, August 5, 2022 at his home. He was reared in the home of his late maternal great parents Lit Leo and Sallie Grazier.
He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, a graduate of Gallman High School and a Vietnam veteran.
Mr. Grazier was predeceased by a brother, Stewart Bland.
Mr. Grazier is survived by a daughter, Rashdia Wright (Lorenzo) of Sumter, SC; grandsons, John Wright, Ja'Conn Wright and Rasheed Wright; great-granddaughter, Londyn Wright; sister, Gloria Jean Liggins of Minot, ND; brothers, Patrick Bland of Newport News, VA, James Bland of Minot, ND.; two aunts, Margaret Dewalt and Mildred Wilson (Sammy); special nephew, Kalob "Muffin" Hunter-Crump; roommate, Charles Boozer, devoted cousins, Sandra "Peaches" Whitener (Leon), Amanda Love and Stefan Bradley Love, Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Werts Cemetery with Military Honors. Public viewing will be on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel. A mask or face covering is required to enter the funeral home.
