Mr. Robert L. "Tookaman/Tooter Man" Rikard, age 66,  passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. He was born on April 30, 1954 in Newberry County, SC to the late Mr. D.S. Rikard and Mrs. Mary Ellen Bates Rikard.

Mr. Rikard was a member of Son's of Aid #48. He was employed at Renfro in Whitmire, SC and Lane's Masonry.

He was predeceased by his wife of 25 years, Faye Lane Rikard; sisters, Margaret Rikard and Rosa Glenn;  brothers, Jerry Bates, James "Duke" Sligh and Clarence Brown.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories include his mother, Mrs. Mary Ellen Bates Rikard; step-father, Mr. Sammy Singley of Newberry, SC; daughters, Bridgitte Montgomery(Michael) of Atlanta, GA; Ebony Young of Columbia, SC; and Michelle Savage of Newberry, SC; sons, David Epps of Whitmire, SC; Reggie Stephens (Bridget) of Anderson, SC; Jermaine Young of Newberry, SC and Omar Savage of NC; sisters, Belinda Bates and Marie Rikard, both of Newberry, SC and Mary Myers of Michigan; brothers, George Ray Rikard (Barbara) of Newberry, SC and David Sease of Greenville, SC; 22 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; uncle, J.P. Toland of Prosperity, SC; a special nephew, Terrance Rikard; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Werts Cemetery. All in attendance are asked to wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing.  Viewing will be on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.
