Robert Lee Clark, Jr.

Mr. Robert Lee Clark, Jr., known as "Man" by his family and friends, entered into the world on February 2, 1997 in Newberry, South Carolina to Kenyatte L. Benning and the late Robert Lee "Bobby" Clark, Sr.  He entered into Eternal Rest on August 15, 2023.

Mr. Clark attended Lucy C. Laney High School and graduated from Butler High School.  His father had a love for football and he passed his love for the game to "Man," who played the game from middle school until he graduated high school.  He and his teammates made it to the All-American Bowl in 2014.  He was a Miami Dolphins Fan.  After high school, he attended the Job Corps  Mr. Clark was a Miami Dolphins Fan and was employed with Ferrero of Augusta. 

Mr. Clark is survived by his mother, Kenyatte L. "Kay" Benning; step-father, Joel Benning; step-mother, Shawanda Clark; sisters, Kareemah Michel'le Hunter and Jaelah Nicole Clark; brothers, Calid Jamel Clark, Micah Isaiah Clark, Queshon Hughes  (Latia) and Dremell Dotton ; aunts, Shenitha Boyd, Barbie LaShawn Lewis (Kenneth), Kristin Danielle Washington (Dave) and Kelly Diona Clark (Brian); uncle, Curtis Hadden; maternal grandmother, Betty Hadden, paternal grandmother, Mattie Williams; paternal grandfather, Robert Louis Clark (Delaine); God father, Donn Rogers, six great-aunts, one great-uncle, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
