Rita Faye Ruff
Obituary
Mrs. Rita Faye Ruff was born in Prosperity, South Carolina to the late Murry Ruff and the late Mary Louise Holley Ruff. She passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Mrs. Ruff was a member of Empowerment Ministries and served on the Hospitality Committee. She was also a member of Women's Home Aid Society #52.
Mrs. Ruff was predeceased by her husband Kelton Orlando Ruff.
Mrs. Ruff is survived by her son, Theodore Lindsay of Prosperity, SC; step-son, Travis Ruff of Prosperity, SC; sister, Nita Francis of Prosperity, SC; brother, Walter C. Ruff of Pomaria, SC; two grandchildren, one aunt, Annie Lee Holley; mother-in-law, Ida Ruff-Geppert; father-in-law, Dieter Geppert; devoted friend, Sheree Carmack, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Bethlehem Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will be on Monday, June 5, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
