Paris Antwoin Bailey

Mr. Paris A. Bailey was born in Newberry, South Carolina to James Willie  Bailey and Teresa Elkins.  He entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Mr. Bailey attended Newberry County Public Schools and was a former employee of MacClean Power Systems in Newberry.

Mr. Bailey was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Earlean Baker; uncles, Fred Goree and Travis Elkins; father-in-law, Heyward Caldwell.

Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife, Deshara Counts Bailey; mother, Teresa Elkins both of Newberry, SC; father, James Willie Bailey; children, Destiny Johnson of Greenwood, SC and Mantrevis Sligh of Newberry, SC; sister, Kernita Ruff of Newberry, SC; brothers, Javon Bailey of Newberry, SC, Arkevius T. Elkins of Irmo, SC and Shavis Sims of Newberry, SC; maternal grandmother, Hattie Elkins of Newberry, SC; three aunts, Coretta Elkins, Renita Bookman (Terry) and Latunga Worthy (Thomas); uncles, Byron Elkins (Keisha), Bennie Hall and Corey Hall all of Newberry, SC; five great-aunts, mother-in-law, Kathy Ann Saddler, one sister-in-law, four brothers-in-law, a number of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.  Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.  Public viewing will be on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
