Na"Tyvious Daveon Griffin

Mr. Na'Tyvious Daveon Griffin affectionately known as "DeeGee" was born in Newberry, South Carolina to Vonshella Griffin and Clifton Boozer.  He entered into Eternal Rest on March 2, 2023 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He attended Newberry County Schools.

Daveon was a well mannered, caring and humble person that helped anyone.  He enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his family and friends.

Daveon was predeceased by his grandfather, Eddie "Champ" Dawkins, uncle, Hokeim Griffin and cousins, JahQuindon Toland and Javoka Toland.

Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Vonshella Griffin, father, Clifton Boozer;  daughters Aubrielle  Tegan-Jhe'ne Robinson and Na'lainea Michelle Mercedes Griffin; sisters, Shauntrice  Boozer, Breuna McBride; brothers, Shyquan Griffin (Tuquana Dendy) and Amir Griffin; maternal grandmother, Barbara G. Dawkins; paternal grandmother, Lillie Boozer; paternal grandfather, Willie Boozer; aunts, Donna Faye Shealy, Sandra Shealy, Felicia Dawkins, Michelle Sanders (Theolis), Natasha Robinson (Bryant); uncles, Undrea Boozer (Charlesta), Marcus Griffin (Na'Treshia), Sharman Griffin, Andra Rhodes (Kimya), Brent Rhodes (Alicia), Terrell Dawkins (Rosa), Wallace Cannon; nieces, Breasia, Aleah, Harmony and Ariana; nephews, Braden,Aiden, Kavion, Kaiden and Jaiden; special great-aunt, Geraldine Lietzsey, devoted friends, Bradley Love, Truquan Dominick, Demarcus Chaplin and Ejay Hamilton, a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church.  Public viewing will be on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
