Marion Jeter Obituary

Mr. Marion Anderson Jeter was born in Union, South Carolina on March 27, 1949 to the late Alexander Jeter, Sr. and the late Rebecca Lane Jeter. He entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Jeter was predeceased by siblings, Henry, Luther, Alexander, Jr., Robert Lewis and Thomas Jeter, Christine Jeter Vanlue, Azalee Jeter McLily and Mary Ellen Jeter.

Surviving are his children Stacy Jeter Henderson of Simpsonville, SC, Sharon Jeter of Whitmire, SC and Quincy Jeter of Moore, SC; step-daughter, Jessica Dendy of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Brea D. Jeter, Miyana S. Henderson, Ahmad Henderson and Quin Jeter; sister, Annie J. Gray of Newberry, SC; brothers, Reverend Edward Jeter (Betty) of Whitmire, SC, James Jeter (Jacqueline) of Union, SC, Coley Jeter of Whitmire, SC and David Jeter (Patricia) of Santuc, SC; other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Whitmire Cemetery. All in attendance are asked to wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing.
