Lee Roy Wicker

Mr. Lee Roy Wicker was born in Newberry, South Carolina to Fannie Abnathey Wicker and the late Voner Wicker, Sr.  He passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Wicker was a former employee of Newberry Country  Club and Ira T. Cousins.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Reginald J. Davenport of Dunn, NC, Christopher D. Davenport, Dezerro Denzell Wicker and Tremaine Penny all of Newberry, SC; grandson, Asante' J. Davenport; sisters, Clover Wicker Collins (Ernest) of Blair, SC, Geraldine Wicker and Fannie E. Wicker both of Newberry, SC; brothers, Voner Wicker, Jr. (Christine), James E. Wicker, Timothy Wicker, Ronnie Wicker, David L. Davis and Quincy Wicker (Sherri) of Winnsboro, SC; three aunts, nieces, nephews, devoted friend, Zara Mitchell, a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 3:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.  Public viewing will be on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.  A mask or face covering is required to enter the funeral home.
