L. A. Riley

Mr. L. A. Riley passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Riley was born in Winnsboro, South Carolina on May 7, 1951 to the late Wade Riley and the late Annie Bell Thomas Riley.  He was a graduate of McCorey-Liston High School.  Mr. Riley was a member of Rising Sun Lodge #410.

Mr. Riley was predeceased by his wife, Josephine Houston Riley,  brothers, Wilbur Riley and Joseph Riley.

Surviving are his daughters, Teresa Henderson of  Newberry, SC;  Debra Riley of Thomasville, NC, Jennifer Riley of Newberry, SC, Ghretta Gilmore of Chapin, SC, Yolanda Cannon of  Newberry, SC; sons, L. A. Riley, Jr. and Sylvester Riley both of Newberry, SC; Darrel Riley (Antonette) of Thomasville, NC; Helen Bookman of  Newberry, SC; brothers, Henry Riley, Willie Riley of Columbia, SC, Ernest Riley (Loretta) of Winnsboro, SC; nineteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, three brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Newberry Memorial Gardens.  All in attendance are asked to wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing.
