Kelly Wise

Mr. Kelly Wise passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at his home at the age of 61.

Kelly was born on October 13, 1959, in Newberry County.  He was the son of the late James Andrew Wise, Sr. and the late Almena Hawkins Wise.  He attended school in Newberry County, as well.  He was formerly employed by Kraft Heinz.

Kelly loved music, watching television, and the Dallas Cowboys.  Everybody knew Kelly for his sense of humor and for doing what he called talking "junk."

Kelly was predeceased by brothers, George Arthur Wise, Heyward Lee Wise and Donald Gibson Wise; sister, Wilhelmina Sue Wise.

Those who celebrate his life and cherish precious and loving memories are his children, LaQuita Bates of Prosperity, SC; Quentin (Rebecca) Brown of Spartanburg, SC and Christopher (Danielle) Wise of Union, SC; siblings, Olivia (Alvin) Mayers of Columbia, SC, Lola Washington of Columbia, SC and Bobbie Bates of Bates-Leesville, SC, Renee Moon and Brenda Wells both of Newberry, SC;; brothers, James A. Wise, Jr. of Newberry, SC, Calvin (Muzette) Wise of Rock Hill, SC; ten grandchildren, Taneka Bates, Kaleya Wise, Kiera Wise, Amelia Wise, Adriana Wise, D'Money Wise, Dakota Brown, Amaya Brown, Sincere Brown and Kamari Brown, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members who will miss him dearly.
