Jimmy R. Walker

Mr. Jimmy R. "Luke" Walker, age 73, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Lexington Medical Center.

He was born on May 20, 1947 in Williston, South Carolina to the late Clarice Walker.  Mr. Walker was a dedicated employee at Newberry College for a number of years.

Mr. Walker was predeceased by his wife, Loretta Ruff Walker and brothers, Lewis, Don, Larry and Thomas Walker.

Surviving are a sister, Annie D. White of Lexington, SC; brother, Theodore Walker of Williston, SC, three sisters-in-law, Kay Ann Hardrick of Columbia, SC, Vivian R. Williams and Rev. Jacqueline R. (Lyndell) Sims of Newberry, SC, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A service will be conducted on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel for immediate family only.  All in attendance are asked to wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing.  Viewing will be on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.
