Jermaine Wicker

Mr. Jermaine Wicker, age 33, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020.

Jermaine was born July 9, 1987, to Frankie B. Ruff and Geraldine Wicker in Newberry, South Carolina.  He was a member of St. John Baptist Church.  Jermaine was educated in the Newberry County School System.  He was an employee for Samsung Appliance in Newberry.

Jermaine was loved by many touching so many hearts.  Whenever you saw Jermaine he had a smile and joke.  Jermaine had a special love for not only his five children but for all children.  He was a great father figure, great son, a great uncle, great friend, just simply a great guy and will truly be missed.

Jermaine was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Julia K. Ruff and Bill Wilson-Ruff, and his maternal grandfather, Vernon Wicker.

Left to cherish his memories are his father, Frankie Ruff; mother, Geraldine Wicker; five children, Janarvious Wicker, Ni'cere Wicker, Ni'zere Wicker, Journee White, and  Ja'Cari White; brothers, Frankie Wicker, Denzel Sims, and Demonta Ruff, Shamarre Ruff; sister, Precious Wicker; maternal grandmother, Fannie Wicker; step-father, Randy Caldwell and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Werts Cemetery.  All in attendance are asked to wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing. Public viewing will be on Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
