Jay Lukie Obituary

Mr. Jay Benzell Lukie, age 51, was born in Greenwood, South Carolina to J. B. Lukie and Mattie Sanders Lukie. He passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at his home.

He was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and a graduate of Newberry High School.

Mr. Lukie was predeceased by a sister, Angela D. Lukie.

He is survived by his parents, J. B. Lukie and Mattie Sanders Lukie, sister, Schonna L. Keasler (Christopher) of Blythewood, SC; brother, Darryl Lukie (Ketekash) of Ninety Six, SC; aunts, Betty A. Sanders, Susie Ann Fuller Lukie and Queen E. Lukie; nephews, Olanjuwon Lukie, Jamelle Lukie, Naaman Lukie, Seth Keasler and Sean Keasler; nieces, Gaalon Lukie and Sydnee Keasler, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 2102 E. Cambridge Ave., Greenwood, SC 29649. All in attendance are asked to wear a mask or face covering and to practice social distancing. Viewing will be on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
