Obituary
Mr. Jasper Bowers, Jr. was born in Anderson, South Carolina to Jasper Bowers, Sr. and Willie Bell Dawson Bowers. He entered into Eternal Rest on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Mr. Bowers was a member of St. John AME Church and a graduate of Chapin High School.
Mr. Bowers was predeceased by a sisters, Sharon Bowers and Willie Jean Arnold.
Mr. Bowers is survived by his parents, Jasper Bowers, Sr. and Willie Bell Dawson Bowers; sons, James Henry Bowers (Tenevia), Columbia, SC and Carlos Greeley, Little Mountain, SC; sisters, Patricia Quattlebaum (Charlie), Irmo, SC, Angela Martin Bowers and Frances Bowers Dixon (Lucious) all of Little Mountain, SC; brothers, Dennis Arnold, Little Mountain, SC and Morris Bowers (KaTima), Bristol, TN, fiancee, Vera Johnson, ten grandchildren, a host of aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel. Public viewing will be from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
