James Robinson
Obituary
Mr. James Robinson was born in Newberry, South Carolina to the late Johnny Robinson, Sr. and the late Gertrude Glasgow-Robinson. He entered into Eternal Rest on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at his home.
Mr. Robinson was a dedicated member of Mt. Olive AME Church-Kinards. He was a graduate of Gallman High School.
Mr. Robinson was predeceased by his daughter, Stephanie Hill, brother, Johnny Robinson, Jr.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife, Bessie Mae Tribble-Robinson; children, April Robinson (Jason Epps), Michelle Robinson (Marvin Thomas) and Robert Tribble (Wilma); sisters, Bobbie Mae Williams and Virginia Robinson Byrd; grandchildren, Jasmine Tribble, DeeMeetrice Boyce, Michael Boyce, Jr. (Brittney), Tryan Tribble, Tyler Tribble and Chelsea Goggins; great-grandchildren, Jamar Hunter, Messiah Boyce and Kaiyr Lindsey, five sisters-in-law, seven brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Olive AME Church-Kinards. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.
