“Kea”, as she was affectionately called by many never stopped smiling. Her smile was not only contagious but taught us all the true meaning of love. She stayed positive and loved to tell everyone, “I got this”. Kea’s spirit touched many adults but most of all the children raised up around her. She taught them to have fun, love and most of all to stay positive.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother Mattie Elizabeth Swindler Swittenburg, her brothers Derrick Swindler and Rufus E. Swittenburg Jr. (Tresa Wright), two God sisters, Ashanti and Asha Hunter, Godson, Jordyn Price, two God mothers, Sharon Hunter and Christy Wise and two nieces, Kamajah Caldwell and London Swittenburg. In addition she leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Hebron AME Church cemetery.
