Ida Ruth Smith

Ms. Ida Ruth Smith was born in Union, SC on December 4, 1957 to Cleve Brannon and the late Sheley Ruth Smith and was reared by the late Wade and Lucindy Walker.  She passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Ms. Smith was educated in the Union County Public School System.  She retired from Kraft Heinz.

Ms. Smith was predeceased by her brother, Wallace Earl Walker.

Ms. Smith is survived by her husband, R. C. "Andy" Dominick; father, Cleve Brannon (Leathia) of Jonesville, SC; brothers, Terry Talley (Louise) of Chesnee, SC; Scott Brannon, Anthony Brannon and Minister Charles Brannon (Jessica) all of Jonesville, SC; Josh Brannon of Union, SC; sister, Marsha Brannon of Spartanburg, SC; close family members Maurice and Viola Jones; sister-in-law, JoeAnn Stoudemire; brother-in-law, Ray Lee Dominick, Sr., cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel.  A mask or face covering is required to enter the funeral home.
